Red gum · northern Victoria
Our label tells you which tree it came from.
Red gum: one kind of eucalyptus, raw, in a 500g or a 1kg jar. Below is everything the label says — and nothing it doesn’t.

Three things worth knowing
Red gum is a eucalyptus
It is one of Australia’s gums. Honey taken from a single variety carries the character of that tree rather than of a blend, which is why the variety is on the front of the jar and not in the small print.
Harvested in northern Victoria
The label puts it plainly: sourced solely within Australia, and predominantly harvested from apiary farms in northern Victoria. Apiary farms — so the bees are kept by beekeepers, and we don’t claim they are ours.
Two sizes, nothing else
A 500g jar and a 1kg jar of the same honey. Square glass, brushed gold lid. There is no third size and we are not going to invent one.
The word "raw"
What raw means here, and what we will not claim
Raw is the word for honey that goes from the extractor into the jar without being made to look like syrup. It can set solid, it can look cloudy, and its colour shifts between harvests — all normal.
What you will not read on this page is that the honey is unheated or unfiltered. Those are specific claims about how a honey is handled, nobody has told us they are true of this one, and we would rather leave a gap than fill it with a guess.
One question left, and it’s yours to ask.
Send one line and you will be told what a jar costs, what postage is, and whether it can reach you. No basket, no account, no newsletter.
